Virginia Hill, Bendigo
We’re building 129 modern, comfortable and energy-efficient social housing and affordable rental homes at Virginia Hill, Bendigo.
This includes a mix of one-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes and at least 5% of the new social housing homes will be easy to access for Victorians with disabilities.
The new homes will be located within new streets and open public spaces that better respond to the community’s needs.
A master plan was developed to help shape the vision for the Virginia Hill site.
Community consultation as part of the master planning process has helped inform the early plans of the Virginia Hill Big Housing Build.

Community consultation now open
Consultation is now open for community feedback on the plans for the new homes at Virginia Hill in Eaglehawk, Bendigo.
The Eaglehawk community are invited to view the design plans and provide feedback in-person by 11:59 pm 15 June 2025.
