Delacombe, Ballarat

We’re building 181 modern, comfortable and energy-efficient homes in Delacombe, Ballarat. This includes a mix of one-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom homes and 5% of the new homes will be fully accessible in line with the Disability Discrimination Act.

The new homes will be located within new high-quality streets and upgraded open spaces that better respond to the community’s needs.

A master plan was developed to help shape the vision for the Delacombe site. Community consultation as part of the master planning process has helped inform the early plans of the Delacombe Big Housing Build.

Community consultation now closed

From 2 June – 23 June 2025, we consulted the Ballarat community and stakeholders on the plans for the new homes at Delacombe.

Thank you to everyone that took part in the consultation process.

All feedback received during community consultation is currently being collected and analysed and will help inform the final design plans for the new homes.

A report on the outcomes of the community consultation will be included in the planning application, which will be submitted to the Minister for Planning in September. The report will be made available on the Engage Victoria webpage for this project and shared with the community.
