Tarakan Street, Heidelberg West
We completed the Tarakan Street, Heidelberg West redevelopment creating 130 new bright, modern and sustainable homes for Victorians who need them most.
Located just 10 km northeast of Melbourne's city centre, the redevelopment is close to public transport, community services, local schools and Bell St Mall.
We achieved a 12% uplift in social housing on the site, by replacing 60 older social homes that were not fit for purpose with 67 social homes and 63 affordable homes.
Delivered as part of the Victorian Government’s investment into social and affordable housing, new residents were welcomed in 2024 with a celebratory community barbeque.
