We redeveloped the Abbotsford Street housing site in North Melbourne as part of  the Victorian Government’s Public Housing Renewal Program.

The project replaced 112 social homes that did not meet modern design standards with more than 340 new homes, including 127 social homes and 17 market townhouses. The project delivered a 13% uplift in social housing at the site.

A new community room, public park, and landscaped courtyards were also delivered as part of the redevelopment for residents to enjoy.

This project was delivered in partnership with MAB and HousingFirst. HousingFirst will manage the new social housing at the site - providing tenancy management and asset maintenance services for a 20-year term.
