What's happening in the precinct

What’s being delivered:

Abbotsford Street redevelopment – has already delivered 127 new social homes, replacing 119 outdated walk-up homes. 
33 Alfred Street redevelopment – planning is underway for approximately 800 new homes expected to be complete in 2031. This includes 300 new social homes for current and future residents (an increase of 110% social homes). It's the first step towards a well-designed, connected and welcoming neighbourhood with shared community spaces and potential for services and retail to support residents.
159 Melrose Street – part of the next stage of redevelopment. From July 2026 to February 2028, we’ll work closely with residents of this building to find new homes that suit their needs.
