Homes for Aboriginal Victorians Round
The Homes for Aboriginal Victorians funding round builds on existing initiatives to support the implementation of Mana-na woorn-tyeen maar-takoort, Every Aboriginal Person has a Home, the Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Framework.
The Homes for Aboriginal Victorians Round funding provides grants to Aboriginal housing organisations to build new homes for Victoria’s First Peoples.
This means more of Victoria’s First Peoples will have equitable access to, and choice in, social housing options.
Housing delivered under the round will better support social, cultural, economic and long-term sustainability in the Aboriginal housing sector underpinning the Victorian Government’s commitment to advancing self-determination.
In 2025, the Homes for Aboriginal Victorians Round announcement included 93 projects that will deliver up to 348 homes and create more than 1,800 jobs around Victoria.
