High-rise Resident Survey
About the survey
We’re running a survey about the redevelopment of Melbourne’s high-rise social housing.
We want to hear from as many residents as possible aged 18 years or over, from a variety of locations and backgrounds.
Your feedback will help us provide the best communication and support for residents as we continue to deliver more and better homes.
What we want to know
We want to hear:
- how much you know about the project
- how you’re feeling about the project
- any concerns you may have about the project
- what support and information you need to help you manage the change
- how you want to be involved in planning for new homes and neighbourhoods.
We listen to your feedback
Last year, many residents said they wanted to hear more about the redevelopment directly from Homes Victoria.
Since then, we’ve provided regular community updates and information stalls in high-rise neighbourhoods.
Completing the survey online
Visit the online survey webpage by 12pm on Friday 24 July 2026 and enter your code.
We’ve sent a letter with a unique code to all high-rise households. You may also receive a text message or email if you’ve supplied these contact details.
If you complete the survey online, you have a chance to receive 1 of 40 $200 grocery vouchers.
Completing the survey over the phone or in person
Research officers will also invite some residents to complete the survey over the phone and be available in some locations to support people in person.
If you complete the survey in person or over the phone, you will be offered a $20 voucher.
Keeping it anonymous and independent
An independent agency is running the survey on behalf of Homes Victoria. The survey is completely anonymous.
Languages
You can complete the online survey in Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, Russian, Somali, and Vietnamese.
