While we recommend participating in the program so you can save money and improve the comfort of your home, it’s your choice.

All upgrades will be delivered by our approved contractors. Your safety is our priority, and all works will be carried out to high professional standards and required health and safety laws. 

No. Any upgrades will not affect the rent of your property.

After your gas is disconnected, you'll get a final bill. Then, you'll save $350+ a year by not paying gas supply charges. Plus, you'll save more by not using gas appliances.

You'll then get one electricity bill for all your energy use. It will be higher than before, but you'll save money by not paying for gas. You’ll also use less energy overall.

The upgrades will take about 4-6 weeks and will need several visits from contractors. The exact time may vary based on your situation and what other upgrades are happening.  You won't need to move out for the upgrades. 

Once your new appliances have been installed by our professional contractors, they will demonstrate how to use them. You will also get simple guides.

Your contact person can arrange extra help where needed, including interpreter services.
