SectorConnect - Fitting in fitness in Geelong

Residents in the Geelong region are getting active and staying well thanks to a partnership between genU and Reclink Australia.

The fitness program includes beginner-friendly aqua fitness sessions at Leisurelink Aquatic and Recreation Centre, as well as weekly fitness and games activities delivered closer to home.

These welcoming sessions give residents a great chance to stay active, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive environment. Participants have commented they look forward to the sessions, with many reporting improvements in their strength, fitness and overall wellbeing.  

The success of the program reflects the strong collaboration between Reclink Australia, genU staff and local SRS providers who continue to support residents to participate and achieve their goals.
