More homes for First Nations Victorians in Werribee 

First Nations Victorians in Werribee now have access to 2 more homes. These homes are thanks to a partnership between Aboriginal Housing Victoria and Homes Victoria. 

They build on 8 homes already delivered in Werribee.  

This project means more First Nations Victorians are housed and can access support for themselves and their families. 

It's important to partner with Aboriginal Housing Organisations like AHV to deliver homes like these. Aboriginal Housing Victoria are able to support First Nations renters in various ways. This includes providing culturally safe tenancy management for renters at this site. They also provide practical support to help households sustain long-term housing. 

These homes are located a few minutes’ drive from Werribee Station, and are close to nearby wetlands, public parks and walking trails. 

They are part of 10% of all new Big Housing Build homes allocated to First Nations Victorians. This allocation is part of the Homes for Aboriginal Victorians Round.
