We’re asking what is important to you, as we plan new homes for Dunlop Avenue in Ascot Vale. We want to hear from residents, neighbours and the wider Ascot Vale community.
Our vision is to create safe, well-designed and well-connected new homes for Ascot Vale.
About the project
This project is being delivered in partnership between the Commonwealth Government's Housing Australia Future Fund and the Victorian Government.
The redevelopment of Dunlop Avenue will deliver 101 new social homes that will be modern, well-designed and energy efficient.
All residents from the old walk-ups at Dunlop Avenue are being supported to move into new homes that suit their ongoing needs and preferences.
Contruction of these new homes is expected to start in 2027 and to be complete by 2028.
Households who have been relocated from the walkups in Dunlop Avenue will have the right to return to the new homes based on their ongoing eligibility, needs and suitability of the new homes.
