Have your say on the next stage of redevelopment at North Richmond

Homes Victoria is progressing the redevelopment of the North Richmond precinct in stages.   

The redevelopment commenced with the Big Housing Build project on Elizabeth Street that delivered 144 new social homes in 2025.  

The next stage includes the demolition of the ageing walk-ups on Elizabeth Street, Church Street and Anderson and Williams courts.  

Redevelopment across the precinct will continue over many years with the progressive relocation of renters, demolition of old homes and development of more and better homes across the precinct.    

As part of the next stage of planning, Homes Victoria is inviting residents and the local community to help shape the future stages of redevelopment and learn more about upcoming works in the area.  

Ideas, insights and feedback received will help shape the design and planning process for the future of the precinct.
