Current and upcoming works
Boundary fence works
Start of works: Mid-August 2025
Boundary fence works will take place at Delacombe to prepare the site for the construction of new homes.
This includes:
- Removal and disposal of existing boundary fencing between new and existing neighbouring properties.
- Construction of a new 1.8m high timber fencing between new and existing homes.
All works will be undertaken in accordance with WorkSafe Victoria regulations, and we will do our best to minimise inconvenience for the local community.
At times there may be:
- Contractors working near the fence line
- Temporary access restrictions near the fence line
- Short-term noise
Contractors will use control measures to reduce impacts as much as possible.
Main construction works
Homes Victoria will be undertaking main construction works in Delacombe as part of the construction of new social and affordable homes.
Works are scheduled to start in November 2025, and the project is expected to be completed in stages between 2026 – 2028.
Works will take place between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.
All works will be carried out safely and we will do our best to minimise inconvenience for the local community.
