Pound Road, Colac
As part of the Regional Housing Fund, we’re building new social and affordable homes in Colac.
This project will see 50 new homes built on vacant land on Pound Road, located close to the town centre and retail, educational and community facilities.
The new homes will include a mix of one, 2, 3 and 4-bedrooms and will be modern, accessible and energy efficient.

Community consultation
From 27 March 2025 until 16 April 2025, we consulted the Colac community and stakeholders on the plans for the new homes at Pound Road.
Thank you to everyone that took part in the consultation process.
All feedback received during community consultation is currently being collated and analysed and will help inform the final design plans for the new homes.
A report on the outcomes of the community consultation will be included in the planning application, which will be submitted to the Minister for Planning. The report will be made available on Engage Victoria after a decision is made on the planning application.
