Working with us

Help shape the future of social and affordable housing in Victoria by pursuing a career with Homes Victoria.

It’s an exciting time to work with Homes Victoria. We are a dynamic organisation with a bold vision to transform the social housing system by delivering the largest single increase and largest-ever investment in social and affordable housing in Victoria’s history.

What we do

We work across government, industry and with sector partners to manage the expanded social and affordable housing system, oversee homelessness service delivery and deliver significant housing infrastructure such as through the landmark $5.3 billion Big Housing Build.  It’s an initiative that will construct more than 12,000 new homes throughout metro and regional Victoria and change many lives for the better, now and into the future. We are also responsible for managing the more than $31 billion in housing assets that currently house more than 116,000 Victorians.

We’re building expert teams in construction project management, planning and development, policy, analysis, administration, communications and engagement to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure our housing system meets the current and future needs of all Victorians.
